Why is the City Developing this Plan?
Every four years, the City of Perth reviews its Strategic Community Plan to ensure it reflects the evolving aspirations, needs, and priorities of our community. This is more than a regulatory requirement—it’s a chance to co-create a bold and visionary plan that reflects what matters most to the people who live, work, invest, and visit here.
Why Does my Voice Matter?
Whether you're a local resident, business owner, community leader, or part of a local organisation, your insights are essential. You understand the city from the ground up—your experiences, challenges, and ideas can help shape a plan that delivers real impact for stakeholders and the community.
What Will This Plan Deliver?
The plan will deliver a shared vision for Perth’s future as the capital city of Western Australia, with clear goals and strategies that will guide the City of Perth’s future work in addressing stakeholder and community aspirations and needs.
Who can participate?
Everyone! Whether you live, work, study, or visit the City of Perth, your voice is welcome.
Will my feedback really make a difference?
Yes. All feedback will be reviewed and used to shape the draft plan, which will be released for public comment in early 2026.
