We are shaping a vision for a vibrant East Perth community sport and recreation hub; and we want your help!

Our analysis shows that we need more community facilities, alongside the already planned aquatic facilities and school. The City envisions a new hub that's accessible to the entire community, enhancing the amenity and activity of the East Perth area. This plan involves consolidating various sports and community facilities to make the most efficient use of land and available resources, and combining this in a new urban precinct with a mix of uses.

This new precinct can take advantage of amazing river views, connections to some of our best new facilities and pathways and provide a place for residents and visitors alike.

The first stage of consultation was highly successful and provided the community with the opportunity to share what they value about the area are and their ideas for the future activities on the site. The feedback was gathered from 242 written comments shared on the online map or via submission and in-person discussions with approximately 45 people.

The next stage of the project will begin to consider the design principles and different scenarios for the design and use of the site that will underpin the planning moving forward.

To get involved with this stage of planning and consultation, you can:

1. Attend a community drop-in session on Thursday 21 March 2024, at the Perth and Tattersalls Bowling Club (No. 2 Plain Street, East Perth) anytime between 5:00-7:00pm. Please note: You do not need to register to attend the drop in session.

2. Complete the online survey below by Tuesday 26 March 2024.
