Clocktower works continue

The restoration of Perth’s historic Town Hall continues, with the focus now on ensuring repairs that will have the least impact on the clock face and its tower.

Last month, a team of City staff joined construction and architectural heritage experts at the clocktower to investigate the deterioration and determine the best restoration solution to feature render elements, including the clock face cloud moulding and tourelles. These repairs have now been agreed and are underway.

Brickwork and pointing repairs have been ongoing since work began in February.
