Where is the exact location of this project?
The works are located at the entrance and exit of both Hay and Murray Street Mall. Refer location maps for each project stage
What does this project aim to achieve? (What will be the end result/what will it look like?)
New bollards will be installed to replace the current static bollards that sit either side of the retractable automatic bollards at each entrance/ exit to both Malls. These bollards will form a certified barrier protecting against unauthorised vehicular access into the Malls.
Will businesses still be able to trade as normal during construction.
Yes. Works have been staged to minimise disruption. Service vehicles will be able to access the Malls and safe pedestrian through zones will be maintained.
How will I be kept informed about progress of the project.
As the project progresses, up-to-date information on the proposed works will be made available via the Engage Perth website. Businesses will also be notified directly where appropriate.
