WHAT IS HAPPENING?

The current changeroom building facilities are being underutilised and require upgrading to meet today's standards. Additionally, repair works are needed to preserve and improve the condition of the Pumping Station. Langley Park project planning will commence after community consultation concludes on Friday 16 December 2022.

PROJECT UPDATE

Thank you for your feedback on the Langley Park upgrades. Based on the community feedback we received the options that will be developed for the refurbishment and adaption of the building will include:

  • Public toilets, changerooms and multipurpose spaces for event delivery and community activities.
  • Ability to adapt the multi-purpose spaces for commercial and hospitality functions if desired in the future.

NEXT STEPS

We are currently working on the procurement of an Architect to design and document the refurbishment and adaption works. The design and contract documentation is planned to be completed by September 2023. Subject to budget approval and a successful tender process, the refurbishment works are due to commence in November 2023.
