The draft plan focuses on making James Street:
Safer and easier to walk around
Cleaner and more comfortable
Greener with more trees and plants
More vibrant with places to meet, dine, and enjoy events
A welcoming destination all year round
These improvements reflect the City’s commitment to creating a liveable, sustainable, and prosperous city — with safe, accessible spaces, greener streets, and a strong local economy.
