Consultation has concluded

The City of Perth covers an area encompassing Central Perth Business District, West Perth, Crawley, Northbridge and East Perth and portion of City of Subiaco which amalgamated with the City of Perth as part of the Capital City act.

As part of the City’s lighting enhancement projects, the City of Perth is upgrading the streets lighting at the following locations in the table below:

Streetscape upgrade, including but not limited to new street lighting, new electrical infrastructure and associated civil works.

Depending on the area, the works will comprise of the installation of multifunctional lighting poles, new light fittings, new switchboards, and underground electrical/communication conduit-infrastructure, as well as the relocation of a mixture of existing City of Perth standard signs, CCTV, and parking information signs.

The scope of works includes, but is not limited to:

  • Installation of City supplied new electrical switchboards
  • Installation of City supplied new multifunctional light poles
  • Installation of City Supplied LED luminaires
  • Replacement of yellow traffic signal poles with multifunctional poles.
