Thelma Street Basketball Court Trial - West Perth

The City of Perth’s Minor Urban Interventions program seeks to enhance city spaces through small projects that support residents, local businesses and social interaction in the community. This year’s focus is re-imagining and revitalising underutilised streets to support street based activation.

After receiving numerous requests from members of the West Perth community for basketball facilities we have identified Thelma Street as an ideal location to trial a small court. This project will re-purpose a portion of un-used space at the western cul-de-sac while still maintaining full access to businesses along the street.
