Make Smoking History Targa West will be bringing the spectacle of tarmac rallying to the Swan River foreshore on Sunday 11th September 2022, based on Langley Park and Riverside Drive and competing through Terrace Road Car Park, Victoria Avenue and Riverside Drive. Along with the rally action there will be Shannons Classics on the Swan Car Display, the Celebration of Motorsport featuring motorsport vehicles, and new for 2022 we will have the Celebration of Street Machines and Hot Rods which will bring an exciting addition to the event.
Competing on Riverside Drive and through the Terrace Road car park we will have The Engine Shop Targa City Sprint in the morning and the City of Perth Targa Rallysprint in the afternoon.
Road Closures
Terrace Road Car Park – in front of Concert Hall
12:00am to 7:00pm
Victoria Avenue from Terrace Road to Riverside Drive
5:00am to 7:00pm
Governors Avenue from Riverside Drive to Concert Hall Car Park
5:00am to 7:00pm
Riverside Drive from Plain Street to Barrack Street Jetty
5:00am to 7:00pm
Terrace Road will NOT be closed from the Concert Hall to Plain Street. The Concert Hall Car Park will remain open. It is anticipated that the roads will be opened before 6.00pm. Targa West will have approval from the WA Police and the City of Perth for the closure of these roads.
