Consultation has concluded

The City of Perth is pleased to invite residents of Nedlands to attend a community focus group session to assist in developing potential changes to parking conditions surrounding the Perth Children's Hospital precinct.

The workshop encourages all participants to contribute their views and ideas to help shape the future of 'on-street parking' in the area, balancing the needs of residents with access for visitors.

Residents of Nedlands are invited to attend the community focus group on Saturday 29 April 2023.

PROJECT UPDATE

Thank you to Residents who joined us and provided feedback on Saturday 29th April in participating in the parking consultation session.

The workshop encouraged all participants to contribute their views and ideas to help shape the future of 'on-street parking' in your immediate precinct, balancing the needs of residents with access for visitors.

Residents have assisted in creating the modified conditions that will be trialled over a 6 month period. Below are the conditions the workshop developed to be installed as on street signage. The changes will roll out across the area by the 29th May 2023.

The proposed parking signage to be trailed for 6-months:

Updated conditions will allow the following:

• 1-Hour parking between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday

• 4-Hour parking between 5pm and midnight, Monday to Friday

• 4-Hour parking at all times Saturday and Sunday

Additional topics were covered in the open discussion and the City of Perth will be considering some of the suggestions.

During the trial, feedback channels will be open through the Engage Perth website engage.perth.wa.gov.au with updates and other potential outcomes from the workshop discussions.

Thank you again for your time and we look forward to improving the accessibility of parking in your area.
