Project background

The City of Perth (City) has an extensive network of green open spaces that play an unique and important role in our city's livability. They are the places where we exercise, play, relax, connect with other people and celebrate with our community. These spaces help shape the city's unique identity, reflect culture and protect our natural environment.

As our city changes with population set to grow and a changing climate requiring resilient management of our green open space network, we need to ensure we meet the upcoming challenges and continue to enrich our city.

Making the city a great place to live, work and play is important to the City of Perth and we are currently planning for the future of our green open spaces.
