Consultation has concluded
The feedback period has now closed. Thank you for your contribution. A summary of the feedback we received will be posted on this page soon.
Project background
The City of Perth, with funding from the WA Police Graffiti team, has been removing graffiti and improving safety in Via Torre, the lane next to William St, between Newcastle and Aberdeen Streets in Northbridge.
We have collaborated with local mural artists from Too Much Colour and Mission Australia's YouthBeat to design a colourful mural on the eastern walls of Via Torre. In January 2022, Too Much Colour and young people painted the New Lost Worlds artwork.
The City improved lighting to brighten up the lane and also cleaned up the high level graffiti on the front of the buildings on William Street to help transform this area.
Invitation to fill in survey
To help us, and the Police Graffiti team evaluate the impacts of these initiatives in changing the perceptions of safety in the area, please fill out the short survey below by Monday 9 May 2022.
A summary of the feedback we received will be posted on this page once the consultation is complete.
We will also use this information to plan new safety and art projects in the city.
Thank you to the team who worked on this project and the community for supporting it.
