Consultation has concluded
At the City of Perth Ordinary Council Meeting on 30 June 2020, Commissioners resolved to initiate a 21 day public consultation period of its intention to levy differential general rates for the financial year 2020/2021.
The City of Perth is now seeking your feedback on the proposed new rates which are set at differential levels to provide, as far as practically possible, a fair and equitable distribution of the rating effort to each category of land having regard to its demands on the City's services.
Feedback provided in the below Q&A will be used to finalise rate setting at future Council meetings.
