Consultation has concluded

The City of Perth is proposing a change to limit right hand turn movements into and out of De Vlamingh Avenue at the Adelaide Terrace intersection as the City has identified a history of crash incidents at this location.

As part of the safety enhancements, the City plans to restrict right-hand turn movements into and out of De Vlamingh Avenue at the Adelaide Terrace intersection. The proposed change will limit access to De Vlamingh Avenue, allowing only left turns in and left turns out. To enforce this, a small island will be installed at the Adelaide Terrace intersection, physically preventing drivers from making right turns.

Please refer to Figure 1 for a visual representation of the concept design for these proposed changes to Adelaide Terrace/De Vlamingh Avenue.

The Hay Street intersection will remain unchanged offering unrestricted turning movements.
