The City of Perth is seeking twelve to fifteen members to be appointed to the Access and Inclusion Advisory Group (the AIAG) for a two-year term.
The AIAG has provided advice to the City of Perth since 1998 on a broad range of areas including events and public infrastructure.
As an engagement forum on matters relating to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, the group has particular focus on the City of Perth’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) and associated initiatives. The 2021 – 2025 DAIP has been provided for your information. Consultation has been completed on the 2026 – 2030 DAIP and is currently progressing towards completion.
The objectives of the Access and Inclusion Advisory Group include:
• Open discussion and engagement regarding relevant City initiatives and activities.
• Monitoring progress against the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan; and
• Providing advice on proposed ideas, programs, services and activities within the City’s role and sphere of influence.
